Multi-objective optimization of electrochemical finishing for attaining the required surface finish and geometric accuracy in the hole making process

Obtaining the required surface finish and geometric accuracy together with attaining high production rate is a challenge in finishing of inner surfaces steel pipes bushes. One promising techniques for metal parts electrochemical machining. In this paper, roughness dimensional inaccuracy CK45 bush were controlled electrochemically. For this, special machine was constructed. The effect electric potential difference along temperature, flow concentration electrolyte on material removal rate, investigated. Box Behnken design (BBD) used designing experiments. Analysis variance (ANOVA) performed validating experimental models. Also, multi-objective optimization using response methodology (RSM) to achieve predetermined level maximizing rate.
